The travel time varies depending on the type of ferry and the departure point. The journey takes 5 to 9 hours from Piraeus, while departures from other Cycladic islands take 1 to 2 hours.
  Amorgos has two ports: Katapola and Aegiali. The Vigla hotel is near the port of Aegiali, so ensure you check the port before booking your tickets.
• Options from Nearby Islands
  If you have reached nearby islands such as Naxos, Santorini, or Mykonos, you can board ferries that connect these islands to Amorgos. Additionally, the "Skopelitis" ferry serves routes to the Small Cyclades (Donoussa, Koufonisi, Schinoussa, Iraklia) and Amorgos, offering a more authentic travel experience.
• Check the Weather
  Ferry schedules may be affected by strong winds, especially if traveling with high-speed ferries. Be sure to monitor the weather forecast and have a backup plan in case of delays.
• Print or Save Your Tickets

If you prefer a faster way to reach your destination, you can book a flight to Naxos, Santorini, or Astypalea. From there, there are regular ferry connections to Amorgos. This option is particularly useful for those traveling from far away and looking to reduce travel time.
